History
Having witnessed the high-quality healthcare service delivery standards in the United States of America, Dr. Prakash Bangani recognized a significant difference in healthcare service delivery in India. Motivated by a social and religious mindset, he felt a strong urge to provide world-class comprehensive healthcare services under one roof to the people of India. This urge compelled him to return to India after 21 years, leaving a highly flourishing practice as a super-specialist Orthopaedic & Hand Surgeon in the USA. This journey culminated in the establishment of Arihant Hospital & Research Centre in Indore, adhering to international norms with an emphasis on excellence in clinical services, diagnostic facilities, and patient care. We extend our gratitude to the Gumashta Nagar Housing Society for providing a vast 100,000 sq. ft plot to fulfil this dream.
In Phase 1, the hospital commenced operations in 2002 with 100 beds in an area of 100,000 sq. ft as a Centre of Excellence for Orthopedics & Spine Surgery, along with other general specialties. Over time, it evolved into a 155-bed multi-speciality hospital with a major focus on Traumatology, Critical Care, Nephrology & Urology, Gastroenterology & GI Surgery, Pediatrics and Neonatology, Obstetrics & Gynecology. Phase II will have other super specialities like Pulmonology & Chest Medicine, Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery, Oncology, Chemotherapy Centre, Radiology, IVF, Cosmetology, Palliative Medicine with Geriatric Care Centre.

With over three decades of experience, Dr. Vinay Kothari serves as the Team Leader at Arihant Hospital. He holds a diverse range of qualifications, including an MBBS, USMLE Qualification, and an M.Phil. in Hospital and Health System Management from BITS, Pilani. Dr. Kothari is a recipient of the Healthcare Icon 2019 award by TOI and an International Award at the House of Lords, London, for his exemplary work in Medical Science.
As the Managing Director of HospiHealth Consultants India Pvt. Ltd. Mumbai, he has led more than 250 projects, emphasizing detailed project reports, hospital planning, design, and financial consultancy. Dr. Kothari’s contributions extend to clinical research, where he served as a Clinical Research Fellow with Dr. Pavan Kumar, a renowned Cardiac Surgeon.
His expertise covers public-private partnership projects, CSR strategies for corporate entities, and medico-legal audits. Dr. Kothari is an influential figure in the healthcare sector, contributing significantly to the growth and success of Arihant Hospital.
Dr. Aditi Mehta

Dr. Aditi Mehta is a seasoned healthcare professional with a comprehensive educational background, holding an M.Phil. in Hospital System and Operations Management from Birla Institute of Technology, Pilani. She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in 2006.
With a career spanning over 15 years, Dr. Mehta is currently serving as a Senior Consultant at HospiHealth Consultants India Pvt Ltd. Her expertise extends to hospital planning, commissioning, and equipment planning. Notable projects she has contributed to include Umrao-Wockhardt Hospital in Mira Road, DY Patil Medical College & Hospital in Pune, and JSW Sanjivani Hospital in Vijaynagar, Karnataka.
Dr. Mehta’s involvement in public-private partnership projects, such as the installation of CT & MRI under the UP Govt. PPP Project, showcases her proficiency in costing, specifications, and manpower planning. She has also organized healthcare knowledge fests, contributing to knowledge dissemination in the industry. Dr. Aditi Mehta stands as a valuable asset in the healthcare consultancy domain with a focus on efficient project execution and strategic planning.
Dr. Swati Shukla
Executive Administration
Dr. Swati Shukla, a seasoned Executive Administrator, boasts a stellar academic background, including an MHA from IMS, Indore, and a B.D.S. from Sri Aurobindo College of Dentistry. Her academic achievements include being the MHA batch topper with an 8.9 CGPA and earning a first division in B.D.S.
Registered with the Madhya Pradesh State Dental Council, Dr. Shukla is committed to professional excellence. She has completed advanced certifications, including NABH EDITION-II, BLS, and Vaccine Administration. Additionally, she holds a government certification in COVID-19 Awareness and Management.
Known for her focus, coordination skills, and effective communication with patients, Dr. Shukla is dedicated to the dynamic field of healthcare.
